What to imbue for sorceress

Hello I’m fairly new to Diablo,

I just finished the imbue quest. I’m level 13, and I found a guide online, frozen orb sorceress, and I’m aiming for that. Until which level should I wait to use my imbue? And on what item would be the best, specifically for frozen orb sorceress build? Also, does the imbue disappear if you don’t use it after you finish a difficulty?

basically get a white diadem and do that and then 6pskulls reroll it until you get something good, rinse and repeat
