When a ladder season ends will formerly ladder characters still be at the same difficulty/campaign/quest point?

When a ladder season ends if I’m most of the way through the 5th act on nightmare, will I still be at that point with that character when the season ends and the character becomes a normal online character? And still have completed the same quests in nightmare?
