To be clear, these Rune Words have never existed in the game before, and they will not be accessible in non-Ladder play like the previous set of Ladder-only Rune Words in the original Diablo II experience.

Whem the ladder ends, runewords are available to nl Players too.

And making those runewords in NL will be possible too, once the ladder has ended.

So yes, Cham will be more expensive.

No, those new rw will always be avaible only on ladder - like it was in LoD, when ladder ends your chars will be transfered to NL but we will be unable to use new recipies/rw on NL FOREVER xD (if u make new rw on ladder, after ladder season you will have it on NL);

It seems from the dev interview with MrLlama that the actual recipes are transferred.

Although this isn’t set in stone and it could be several ladder seasons before this happens.

Well, I was watching the interview and it sounded just like I wrote.

I know that it has been different back then. But still it sounds like those “recipes”, aka the ability to make those new runewords, will come to NL.

Ladderseasons were much longer in D2, too. If there is really a Cham needed, guess how many of those RWs will make it to nl in 4 months?

No, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense and I am sure they will just make those runewords available on NL once the season is over.
