Title pretty much says it all.

Is it coming prior to S18

Or together?

Anyone from Blizzard can give us a clue? Update? Anything ?

Nevalistis, the US Community Manager, mentioned Season 18 and the PTR which will precede it, a few days ago…

That doesn’t lean toward the answer I was looking for. Let me rephrase:

Is 2.6.6 related to S18 ?

Is it two different things ?

Together. New seasons and new patches seem to always coincide now. The next patch will almost certainly go live 1 week or a few days before the start of season 18.

Ptr should be this tuesday or next. If not it means s17 will be extended

Patches (unless for emergency fixes) are always applied between seasons. For major patches, they will be tested on the PTR around a month before the season ends. Nevalistis has also shown that there will be a PTR for 2.6.6…

…so we’ll likely be able to test the changes of 2.6.6 shortly, and they’ll be applied to live in the gap between the end of season 17 and the start of season 18.

If the patch exists for 2.6.6 it should include the barbarians buffs otherwise I’ll be very upset :slight_smile:

Yes but she said that she doesn’t promise anything which makes me a bit pessimist about being in a potential 2.6.6 patch…

Guys tbh, I really wish to see some items with new affixes, not only buffs…
