Add An Attachment

Hi, I need to show something in some screenshots here on the forum
but I don’t know how to attach screenshots onto my post so that
you can see it, or is there an address that I could send the screenshots
to, thanks.

Hi,

To add an attachment to your post, you need to upload it to a picture hosting website… such as imgur.com

Then you put a link to your attachment in your post; you will need to convert the link to pre-formatted text for the forum to accept it. To do that, highlight the entire link and click on the </> button on the formatting bar at the top of the composition window.

You can find more info about the forum here:

Regards.

Ok I hope I did it rite, check these pictures.

Yep - those worked… although I usually use the “Direct Link”… it has the file extension and is easier to load – https://i.imgur.com/Yas50AK.jpeg instead of https://imgur.com/Yas50AK. But the Image Link will work.

Now you have the same link twice

You’re not going to be able to print the screenshot… only those with TL-3 or higher (Blizzard) can do that.

We only have a few TL3, but if you ask, we’ll be happy to print them for you.

I tried to change it but it still just shows the address.
but it’s ok the way you’ve got it, just so long as you can
see it, it should be fine that way.

Yes… that’s what I meant… it will show only the address, not the picture.

Ok I understand, but actually I am a little bit curious about those
pictures it does not affect me because all of my stuff is working
normally but if you find anything interesting about it like if its a bug
or a virus or whatever it is could you let me know, thanks.
Also I did what you said, I first click on </> then paste the address
then push enter to go to the next line and click </> again for the
next picture and paste the address but still same thing, but it’s ok,
it’s not really that important so long as you can see the pictures, ok thanks again.

First, upload your image to a free image-hosting site such as imgur.

Copy the URL of your image to the clipboard and then paste it into your forum post

Highlight the URL in your post

Click the </> button in the editor

This will turn your URL into pre-formatted text

The result will be a properly formatted URL (although not clickable) that others can copy / paste like this…

http://www.thisisntarealurl.com
