I remember seeing some D2 version, where the druid could morph into some kind of golem. The memory of this is already quite faint, as it’s been a long time, and I’ve just had a glimpse of it, but years later, when I attempted to look it up - I couldn’t find anything about it. Yet some other people I’ve talked to seem to have memory of the same mod as well.
Was this involved, maybe… https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Oath_Rune_Word …as it gave charges of Summon Golem and, as it rendered the weapon it was put into indestructible, the weapon wasn’t destroyed in the process of creating the golem.
Was your druid actually becoming a golem, or did it have a golem summoned?
The druid was indeed a golem. And if memory serves me right, it was kind of a “Molten golem”. Not a necro summon.
