You’ll get some hits on area damage explained. Quinn’s is good but also take a look at Wudijo’s because it’s newer. I don’t know if he covers it in his video but “pixel pull” is especially advantageous if you can accomplish it.

Why is area damage still broken in multi-player? The game literally chokes to a halt for all players.
Area Damage shall be reworked enterily since in party it freezes the game. Do not use it in party, zero on items and on paragon.
