Blizz Tracker doesn't seem to be finding blue posts

So, when I’m looking at the General Discussion forum, I see clickable things at the top of it, namely… Top, New, Unread, Latest, Blizz Tracker

When I click on Blizz Tracker I get the result…
There are no posts by members of this group
…despite there being a stickied thread by Rynundu at the top of the forum. Do stickies not count? Do read posts not count?

If I understand the software, there are defined groups that have flags set for them. In order to be tracked, you have to tell the tracker who to track. If a person is not added to that group yet, it won’t track them.

Sticky threads are tracked in the Blue Tracker. I did check the WoW forum just now to verify and a recent sticky thread is reflected in the tracker.

It is going to take a bit of time to refine the settings and groups.

So, the reason the stickied blue post isn’t showing up in the Blizz Tracker is because Rynundu isn’t a member of the “Blizz” group on the forums?

I just tried this on the US General Discussion forum too. Likewise, the tracker’s not returning any results there either. It’s amusing that apparently even Nevalistis isn’t a member of the “Blizz” group.

I can say 100% they are still working on setting up the groups, setting the group permissions and flags, and adding people to those groups. It tends to be a few days before it gets ironed out.

Why? The Web Team handles most of it and they don’t know who is who in the Dev and Community teams, much less any MVPs or special categories. Those are handled after roll out usually. The Community team works to customize and set up the groups with Web team support.

I do not understand how to look at my own profile to track my progress. I tried doing it right, but I only get error message.

Can someone show me a valid link, maybe even to my profile? Thanks.

Thank you for aiding me. I love the new forums. But there is much new to learn.

Great summary MissCheetah-1661! Thanks for supporting the EU forum as well.

You can also use the European guide to the new forum. You will find it in a forum such as Hearthstone:
