Update … now will finish at “approximately 3 PM PDT” …
… new update … now is 4 PM PDT …
It seems Blizzard team have the impression we have all the time in the world to wait for them to finish the job.

Blizzard easily have at least 99.99% up-time on their servers.
I have the impression that some folks have never worked in tech and therefore fail to appreciate how expensive an SLA guaranteeing that level of up-time would cost.
An overrun of a couple of hours on a maintenance isn’t a big deal when such overruns are months apart.
By the way, I presume all this took place whilst I was fast asleep overnight>

I believe it was scheduled between ten o’clock evening to midnight (Paris/Berlin time) but it dragged on an hour more - which was also announced in the battlenet app.
