I already own Diablo 3 on battle.net for Windows for a decade.
What about crossplatform with the Switch? If I buy the game for my Switch too, can I continue with my savegame?
I saw that this is possible with Diablo 2: Resurrected. Thus, I wonder if this has already been solved for DIablo 3.

As long as consoles have local saves, PC at least will remain its own environment. If local saves are all annihilated on all consoles and only server stored saves allowed, then crossplay can be considered. Even then many mechanics need to be adjusted to match PC as console versions are quite different from the PC version.
There is no cross-platform play in Diablo III.
No, you would start completely from scratch on the Switch.
