It’s balancing - again. In my opinion some of the latest balancing changes showed us the existing problems very well. When you have to cut builds by 66% (Mundungo) to get him in a better spot, it becomes obvious: It’s impossible to get a balance even within a class. Basicly there are two options if you want to get it right: you have to adept numbers very often or you have to change something in the system.
Therefore I would be a fan if Blizzard would:
- Adept the scaling for HGrift - Progression in a way, its easier for them to balance stuff.
- Make the DPS-calculation for the chars more transparent or better to judge. When you add +20% damage - it should be +20% damage and not depending on how much +xx% you already have from this type(ele/skill) of bonus.
- Season of the Clown-fiesta
Because this would change a lot and will turn out really chaotic at the start Blizzard could change this and use one whole season to balance stuff and find out what kind of item-reworks are necessary. That means - regular (maybe weekly - therfore Clown fiesta) number tweaks to get the balance in a good spot. That also means we have to know what we are aiming for.
What are your thoughts on that approach?
