Real money? No. But they should try to inplement ingame currency auctions avavible.
no, nope, not again. it ruins the end game as people will buy power so pay to win which with pvp actually being a thing in d4 will again be a way to pay you’re way to being the best or at least the best equipped.
Most people seem to hate the Auction House itself, but the actual problem was the way it was implemented (no restrictions whatsoever, leading to hyperinflation).
I would be fine with an auction house, way better than clumsy trading. It needs the right restrictions though (they already talked about those for trading). And no real money, because that equals pay to win.
RMAH - NO DONT DO IT, its a bad idea and would just kill the game again
NO! eh…always will pop up someone to suggest that,NO,NO
This is not Diablo!
No and i say it again, No.
And if a huge item drops for you and you pocket a quick 1000 Euro? Still ‘no’?
Especially no!
Games are not supposed to be there to make money (unless you’re the publisher).
EDIT:
Actually, if you want to make money playing games, then train up a bit and start playing Rugby, Cricket, Tennis or some other physical world sport.
Rofl stop taking the bait from this troll… now gtfo with your real money AH.
Go play EA games. Bet you gonna like those P2W elements.
No auction house. If it’s in D4 I won’t buy it. It was removed from d3 for a reason. If you like the auction house. Play EA games because the auction house is for people who 1, aren’t good at ARPG’s or 2, it takes all (the entirety) of skill out of the game and nobody will buy the game.
Luckily a (real money) auction house seems to be absolutely against the philosophy of the dev team, which as far as I understood, is, that you have to kill monsters to gear up. Besides that, an auction house does perfectly fit into WoW, kind of fits into D3 as it is, but not at all into a game like D2 and thus hopefully also not into D4.
It is a great simplification to just look at the AH and buy items you need. Having to look for people with the right items for you and offering items to a more restricted set of players more directly, connects the community more and gives the game an RPG dynamics off the battlefield. It decreases the overall pace, which in turn would make players to deal with the individual items more in detail. That’s why I think an AH in a lot of games is more like an arcade version of trading. (In WoW e.g. not so much, because the best gear comes from raids, PvP and crafting by yourself {as far as I know from the first expansions}).
I dont see the issue with Auction Houses. You dont have to use them. Its not compulsory.
If you choose to ignore them then they dont exist.
What the hell are people smoking for even proposing RMAH to the game? If this game meant to have ladder/seasons in it then theres no room for such heresy.
Good one. It would be Pay2Win.
you don’t mate, the vast majority of players, do
This post should be flagged… Blizzard has learned from the mistake in D3 im confident
There was ONE good thing with the auction house though…
…
I earned 15bucks …
Oh god i dont want to be rude with you or hars but are you sure you want to sing your death sentences?
The only good thing about it was its removal from the game in my opinion.
