Diablo 3 snapshoting mobs

Hi guys,

as I said in different topic - haven’t played in a while, am returning to Diablo 3 for final season before D4 and have seen some new concepts I was never familiar with.

I have read a couple of leveling guides (don’t wish to go through story leveling for hours once again) and people suggest “snapshoting” mobs in many of them.
What is this? Some say teleport to map, some say teleport to map, run through mobs, don’t fight any, and TP to town.

I have read about snapshoting mechanics and buffing a skill that remains buffed even after buff has expired (example some arrow is shot and remains stronger or buffed even though character buff has expired) , but am curious of “when” exactly do you snapshot a mob - when you TP to map where he is, or when you run past him - spawn him in a sense?

Can someone explain what this is and if they really remain - for example level 1 after being snapshot - but I am level 15 at that time, but they give same experience as if they were level 15?

Also someone mentiones “snapshoting a game” in a sense that lvl 1 character creates t6 game while I am lvl 20 and then I enter and kill lvl 1 t6 mobs as level 20 character if he leaves the game?

It means that you enter a map (can’t remember which one is the best) and then you walk around and explore it all, which means that you uncover all the monsters, before you begin to kill anything. This way all the monsters stay at the same level as you had when you entered the map. Instead of the monsters growing stronger and stronger as you gain levels… and thereby harder to kill and more lethal.
This way it’s easier to get a high kill streak.

Seasonal heroes have immediate access, from level 1, to Adventure Mode, i.e. you can level via Nephalem Rifts, Bounties, and so on.
