Dear blizzard, its me again this time with a great post that means the whole game for me.
I started playing Diablo 2 when i was 13.
Now i started with the original game not the expansion.
I keep trying to enjoy the expansion but somehow i cant.
There are reasons why which im gonna explain for now, one of the reasons is the rune system and charms.
It simply cannot be compaired with the original game stats and the cube recipes.
Im talking about a perfect rolled battle hammer with a huge enhanced damage bonus on it and dual leech for example finally sockted with a stone of jordan and 3 perfect skulls, in which you put another gem in.
This system is the most beautiful system i ever played and think you should look close to this because if right now you were to make something like this again but abit expanded to different, not like the lord of destruction expansion were you can be a sorcerer changing into a werewolf, is total game destruction for me.
The basics of Diablo 2 is a really good foundation.
You should build and improve from here and not destroy game mechanics.
In Diablo 2 classic i play with items, in Lord of Destruction i play with runes and charms.
Now i hope in the remastered version i can still play Classic Version.
And hope that the statistic visuals are presented again the colouring appearance.
