It looks like there is again noch character planing. (seriously?)
One of the biggest flaws in diablo 3 was there is no re-playability because there is no character planing wich means one time trough up to max lvl a few hours later you ´re done.
It doesn´t make sense to have skills that lvl with my progression and i as the player have no control over it, they are just here they are fixed < not good.
Remember the root´s of diablo 1 and 2.

English is not my main language so I apologise. I didn’t quite catch what did you mean? It has skillpoint system, sort of combination of D2 and D3 where skillpoints come every level and skilltomes. It’s just that tree is gone from skills and added to Talents instead.
I have mixed feelings about this skill/talent system, only this, rest of this game is awesome.
I didn’t like PathOfExiles tree. First it was awesome but while planning these “+10 energy” paths towards some minor minion damage was not for me. It’s alright if tree is small if it’s content matter a lot.
I think D4 already has it like D2. I would like to change something though…
- Just smash talent and skills to one nice tree where they act as “actives” and “passives”. All points find their slot in the end.
Remember those masteries from D2? Combine skills and talents. Thank you.
I just don’t want to be forced to play dozens of the same class only to be able to play with the other spells I did not choose. It’s what Diablo III did right.

D3 you choose any skill you want?
Wait! Do we have to invest certain amount of points to skill that I will not use in D4 before next line of skills is available? Hope not, right?
The is no replay-ability in Diablo 3 for you because:
- You plan your characters instead of making use of the in-game RNG and playing with what you’re given.
- You exploit the “Strength in Numbers” buff to get yourself to max level within a few hours.
Myself, on the other hand, always play seasons from start to finish, and always make a point of it to go looking for ways to extend the gameplay experience for as long as possible.
Character Planning & Speed Leveling are not good things because they destroy the mystery of not knowing.
And then what are you gonna do? put on the same shitty set items? nobody wanted it that way thats why alot of players left to d4 has talents + skills so more variety
@Prometheus-2318
no you missunderstood, the main problem is if i always have all skill available/switchable at any point i like, there is no point in createing a new or 2nd char and try something complelty different. = 0 re-play ability.
(sure path of exile is maybe to complex in this point but diablo 3 was a joke in comparison)
and for me hack/slash through dungeon lvl xxx is not fun there is no meaning no real goal behind it one season you may get to dungeon lvl 500 another season maybe 600 next season may only 400 because of rng gear drops, but that doens´t fell like i accomplished something. if i kill a boss or something similar it feels i accomplished something. and thats fun but if it´s always the same thing it get´s boring fast. if i later still had the option to farm and run dungeon´s if i want to that´s a different thing but dungeons that get harder and harder is not a good endgame content.
Sets are not end game anymore. Drop-rates are lower and legendary items don’t fall from sky is what they said. Similar to D2, set give’s stats that can be less than the same amount of legendary-items.
What do you guys think about Mythic items?
Player can wear only one Mythic. It has multiple legendary specials. I didn’t get this completely but if those specials are random and item type is random, it will be one huge tinkering bomb.
Huge potential that can be the base of whole build that gives player a little puzzle to think about.
Nice.
I think these new Mythic items are very interesting yes i dont know if they are random or fixed so. if they are random then yes a whole lot of things can go down maybe for all your 4 current equipped skills
