Long term Diablo fan here I grew up playing D2 and have a decent amount of time spent killing demons in D3 and now with D4 approaching I have tons of QUESTIONS! If any of the people at Blizcon or if any Blizzard employee desires to share or unveil something please do so:
Here is a small list of questions:
- Is there going to be a follower like in D2 Rogue, Desert Mercenary, Iron Wolf, Barbarian, or like in D3 Scoundrel, Templar, Enchanters. If there will be will we be able to:
1.1 Customize gear like Armour Weapons ETC…?
1.2 Touch skill treas can we expect to be able to customize those?
1.3 Change appearances of flowers?
- Will there be dungeons with predetermined loot tables, can we be expected to farm bosses for specific item drops?
- Is there going to be trading/action-house, precipitant currency like gold?
- Resistances and gems what can we expect?
- Is there gonna be the ability to do group content, in therms of dungeons and raids?
- Are there any plans to have a complete single player experience?(I personally like the single player a lot and is what made me fall in love with D2 at first to this day i like replaying the story of D3 just for fun.)
- Can we expect familiar faces from older games?
- Is there going to be Transmogrification/Dye system/s?
- Is PvP going to be forced upon players and are skills going to be devided to PvP and PvE?
- Set items any news will they be the main focus again?
And many more questions to come. Hope we can get some answers.

For me, it’s:
-
will there be online saves for console platforms (to stop cheaters)
-
will paragon be removed (as it should imho) and the disparity between solo and group play removed?
I have no further interest in playing a game competitively that gives a blatant advantage to group players in solo content.
I hate bounties (boring!), but I do like the concept of end game rifts and GRs.
I do NOT like the over-reliance on RNG. D3 has far too many layers of RNG and they spoil the game imho.
I don’t care about PVP, or trading. I don’t mind them being in the game, but they have little interest to me personally. Others are free to utilise these features, but I’ll pass.

Will diablo 4 support:
HDR (HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision)
4k resolution (or even 8k)
Will it have a dimmable hud for those of us with expensive OLED TVs that have issues with pixel burn in
console ports - current gen or next gen consoles (or both)?

Will this be enough for you so far? It answers many of your questions.
4 - I agree, please make monster sets immune to fire or cold, make stuff more meaningful than just this hammer is on fire or this lightning bolt is basically a fire ball but its lightning, wowzers, this is why elements have characteristics to them, lightning is fast, very fast, and fire blows up.

Do you know the time of the Diablo panel(s) today? There is some art-thingy, but will they talk about the game features
You can find the full schedule here.
I hope the game will not be like Destiny 2
- I don’t want daily, weekly progression quests. I don’t want to feel that way, I should do this week’s quests to keep up with item levels. It feels like it is not game, it is a job, or school which forces you to do assignments.
- I don’t want content which require parties. I don’t want raids which requires pre-made parties and pre-scheduling. It is already to hard to find a suitable time to play MOBA, shooter etc with friends. Also I don’t want to play with strangers to do raids and dungeons. Most of time someone on the party will push forward without waiting the others, and you will have to skip exploration and story content.

I agree. There seems to be a WOW influence with D4, at least with what we’ve seen and currently know. No thank you.
I’m not a fan of the raids, it is simply pushing the group mechanic at the cost of any real enjoyable time for solo players, who will really struggle. Forcing us to group up is not going to work, at least for me. If Blizzard does, as I suspect, go this route, then the game is a NO from me.
Catering to the no-lifers living in their parents basement who do nothing but play Diablo without contributing to society (i.e. work) is bad too. Casuals make up the vast majority of potential players who will buy this game when it becomes available, and the game should overall cater to them, and not the hardcore nutters who are a minority.
