I am playing around a bit with a support wizard this season and I was wondering if i could trigger the conflagration passive with a nonfire skill (e.g. sleet storm), by having +fire damage on the weapon.
Only found 6y+ old info for that saying it would only work on skill that actually use the weapon, i guess thats still true?

The element on your weapon is ignored, it’s the element on the rune for the ability that is used, i.e. if you had a weapon with cold element, but used an ability runed with fire, the damage caused is fire.
