I am annoyed because this is so universal.
I am logged in to my BNet account. You know all my details. My age.
I am greeted with visions of blood, D4 ads, all that.
When I try to read any article, I have to enter my birth date.
First. I want to type it, not click it. Sorry, I’m too old and I have to scroll a lot.
Second. If I enter my birth year (198x), I qualify. I really don’t need to enter month or day.
Yes, I’d rather type this than scroll my age.
Because I don’t need the article but young product owners / managers have to learn UI/UX and some logic.
And I’m annoyed by this in all platforms.
As if designers think the only people gaming are ages 3-20.
