In fact I didn’t “tamper” with your words. You are saying that math has no place when you play games.
Whatever it is you did do with my words, it’s not really important anyway.
As I said earlier, games are (for me, anyway) used to get away from the rigors and stresses of life. For entertainment purposes only.
When I disprove a false claim by using simple maths, I find that entertaining.
Whatever rings your bell, Meteor… Whatever rings your bell…
im a new player just starting my greater rifts and i though 1.3m was expensive !
glad i have the hoarder gem lol
in d3 if you remove the gold - gameplay didnt change at all. That’s the real state of gold - it’s not important in d3. Current d3’s ways of spending money is just extra crutches to make people pick it up.
If you played the game you’d know it’s auto pickup.
Once again, it’s used for empowering GRs, re-rolling at the Mystic, crafting non-legendary gems.
There are other currencies in the game appart from gold that are nonetheless important for end game progression and min - maxing. Well technically not currency, i am reffering to the materials. Bounty materials, deaths breaths, etc… Gold is needed at first, to upgrade your artisans and then later in the game to empower greater rifts which allows you to get an extra gem upgrade. Also the gems combinations for emeralds, rubies, etc… It is important but it is also easy to come by. There is no need selling anything after a point. Yeah diablo 1, 2 had gold but did not have other materials too (appart from gems for the cube) so it was the only currency in the game. What difference does it make if it is gold, silver, gems, stones, keys?
