I opened the game about 1 hour ago and had 5 successive rifts with grotesques.
It isn’t that they were in every rift but almost on every floor/map in each rift.
Are the other beasts on strike?

Sounds absolutely grotesque to me 
The other, more annoying, beasts aren’t on strike. They have relocated to the server that I usually play on… so it seems.
Grotesques are said to give good progress in GRs and in rifts they are harmless if you have Goldwrap and BotH (and the buff isn’t off!).

I know but goldwrap just doesn’t work in gr, except right at the end after the guardian is dead and drops gold, right at the moment it is useful
