Hello, what is the quickest/fastest way to get socketed items? I know you can reroll stats on items you own. Rest of the stats/type of item doesn’t really matter, it’s just for some low level characters to level them up quicker (put some high level gems in them).

A fast, and fun, way to level up an extra character, if you wanna do it solo, is to put a level 25 gem of Ease into the socket of a powerful level 70 weapon that the character can use.
interesting gem, I was not aware of it, thanks for the tip but I only have a mediocre level 70 character. Doing greater rifts to farm for the gem seems a bit obsolete.
Doing greater rifts is the main part of the game (at least once you’ve finished campaign) and you don’t have to do high level greater rifts to get all the legendary gems and level up the most useful of them. Later you might wanna level up gems to use for augments with the Caldessan’s recipe.
Exactly what Jazz says. GRs are where the end game is. I guess if you only want to do the campaign and then level up each character type to get the trophies, fair enough. But that’d be only barely just scraping the game content imho. The current iteration of the game, unlike D3V (vanilla D3 at initial game launch back in 2012) has a much deeper level of content imho and is a far superior game.
The gem of ease is definitely worthwhile. Get a nice ancient lvl 70 item for the character in question, use the cube to make the item in question lvl 1 (rather than lvl 70). Try and get said item with a socket, so you can put in a ruby for more dmg. Doing this, even with just a weapon and nothing else via gem of ease, can get you from lvl 1 to 70 in under an hour solo easily.
it does not take long to get a gem of ease to lvl 25. You can even level several of them up and set several items to lvl 1 for your new character, making levelling it to 70 even easier.
