If you have a follower and they die, will they lose any items you equipped them with?
Also if you change followers then change back will both followers still have any items you equipped them with?
What happens when your hero dies? If that has ever happened to you in the game?
The other question: try it and see for yourself.

I’ve already equipped the Templar with lots of magic armour which was why i was asking, as i want to try different followers with my different characters
You can do that with no problem…
