Increase of n00b bots?

Seems like an sudden increase of n00b bots that have found a free software.

Discussion: Could a banwave kill the player pool? Did the bots win the struggle?

More and more paragon 4k bots die a lot in level 16 torment games, they choose the same bounty that is occupied by another player. They die over and over on skeleton king, MS DHs shoot in all four directions over and over even after the enemy is dead and they hate act V.

Who is the n00bs leader that they listen too? Why have all the n00bs started botting all of a sudden?

My idea of getting rid of botters without a banwave: Adjust the bosses HP after damage and toughness the player/s that choose the encounter have just like Sephirot in Final Fantasy VII… In a way that forces them to dodge Azmodans comet at least once before he dies or skeleton kings warp attack, as an example. N00b botters should not be able to program a bot that good that the bot can survive the bosses if he cant kill them in 5 seconds that they can do now.

Even legitimate players hate Act V bounties, because they’re generally awful and can be “kill all the mobs on level 2 of this dungeon” where you spend minutes even finding the dungeon entrance, then a mazey level 1 to find level 2 and Adria is one of the longest boss runs in the game.

Stop going OT in my threads.

There are three different "kill all mobs on level " bounties in act V and only one of them spawns when a game creates. And the maze in one of them is very short if you can find exit quicker. The most cryptic "cant find"bountie is in act III btw and the longest mission is in act II, Cydea takes longer to find than it is to find Adria unless you are blind.

Adria is not a long boss, Belial is long and Diablo is long even Malthael and Urzael are longer and that is because they stop game for dialogs. A paragon 900 multishotter should be able to take down Adria in maybe like 10 seconds but I dont understand n00bs that wont play an act because Adria takes too long I think you are looking for “n00bs and legitimate n00bs find act V very hard because they cant faceroll or stand in the fire”.

What I mean by that they hate act V is that bots are horribly programmed and leaves a bountie to play another in middle of it. Bots always choose act V last.

If legitimate players really hates act V they should just l2p.

I never claimed it takes a long time to kill her. I claimed that it takes a long time to get to where she is from where you zone into the map.

My point, which is not off-topic, is that it’s not just bots that avoid Act V but also players that find it tedious to spend minutes to find a boss which takes under three seconds to kill.

omg can you stop whine about something that is easiely solvable with a mobility skill? It is fast and easy to get to Adria and when I am talking about it maybe you should start a timer from the beginning of Skeleton Kings room to the part when he dies and then speedrun great hall, you will see that it takes a little time unless you want to get busy with elites like you said in another thread but then you should not complain.

Your point proves me right, botters are just like n00bs when it comes to act V, they both find it hard to do.

You probably misunderstood Meteor’s point. Yes, the Skeleton King and several other bounties do take time but it’s not time that you spend frantically running through a long winded maze, it’s time where you can sit and relax in front of the computer and maybe have a sip of coffee or something stronger.

I didn’t say it was hard, I said it was time-consuming. They’re not synonymous.

As for the Skeleton King, it’s always the same route from where you zone in to where the entrance is and it’s way, way faster than finding Adria’s entrance which is at the end of a randomised, long, maze-like level which is full of doors you have to open. Mobility skills do not allow you to bypass closed doors and that map’s full of them.

As for Urzael, yes, his entrance can be a long way from where you zone in but then so can “Clear the Repository of Bones” whose entrance can take just as long to find, then you have to run through level one of the repository before you even begin on the task of killing all the enemies.

Please stop conflating takes a long time to find with takes a long time to kill.

Sometimes the entrance is far another time its near.

Sometimes a cave can be found easily in fields of misery other time it takes long to find that cave just like caves in dalghur oasis.

Yes, as opposed to the Skeleton King which is always the exact same, non-randomised route and therefore always takes exactly the same amount of time.

You’re literally confirming my points rather than refuting them. Are you new to debating?

Banwaves are the solution, properly done, in scheduled periods, in huge size and diligently frequent. Exactly the opposite that those incompentents (or in bad faith) of Blizzard and the Hacks Team are doing. My suggestion is to not buy anymore products from these people: we demand banwaves in non season from ages and the results are the numbers 1 leaderboards spots ALL taken by losers botters, a little less worse situation in season but still the same basically. Dont buy anymore titles from Blizzard , they cant guarantee the integrity of their game, bots are killing Diablo 3 and Blizzard is doing nothing, i will never buy anymore a title from them, they don`t deserve my money.

meteorblade: You arent even talking about the same room/hall as me, I meant to take time when entering SKs lair from the door to having him dead. It is not as far as going through great hall but if you choose to collect death breath on the way you should be thankful that it is long since you are getting more death breath wich you are after.

Here is an interessting article about selective memory and how our brain tricks us to think that something is different than it is in reality.

edit: cannot have links in post so I say that you should google up selective memory

Sodril’s posts are perfect examples of selective memory… and denial of facts.

Selective memory is almost as good as the ignore function in the old forums…

since this topic is way off its original discussion ill keep it short;
Yes i also notice a huge increase in bots, and not only in public bounties.

Most damage is already done. It was swarming of bots a couple of weeks ago but now almost every cheater har paragoned high while collecting cube material. I find myself more often in a botless game wich is pretty bad since I always vote kicked the bot before last mission and collection.

edit: also that clan 1337 tilts me a lot that keep botting for themselves while still calling their clan 1337, it should be “b00ns”.

Look at solo crusader EU non season leaderboards, top 5 are cheating losers, non stop botters and Blizzard is doing nothing, we will never buy a Blizard title anymore, they are lazy incompetent greedy people, we will punish them leaving their titles for people with no brain or cheaters.
