I returned after about 2 years. I got 1 char to 70, one to 50’ish since then … in 3 days.
I played mostly on Torment I.
Reached 70 soon after start of Act II…
Is it really this easy nowadays? -.-
Campaign mode is usually said to be too easy.

I had a few years break.
I started a new game, with a class I never played before … turned it up to Torment I…
I admit I had some moneyz and some paragon levels…
But it was EASIER! … MUCH EASIER … than ever before…
Hit 70 somewhere in Act II … never needed to “tone down” the difficulty though …
So IS “Torment I” the new “Normal”? 
Haven’t played campaign in years. But seen lots of posts about it being too easy. Don’t know how high you can crank up the torment levels.
Adventure mode is usually challenging enough. With rifts and greater rifts.

What they could do is recalibrate the levels so easy become like T1. T5 becomes like T14 and so on. Although i expect as D4 gets underway d3 support will dramatically decline and seasons will just become repeat of previous seasons.
I remember when t6 was the max and we all struggled to kill Malthael. Arghhhh!
The world no 1 leaderboard was gr level 37.
There was no kanai cube and no ancients
I’m sure I have struggled with all the act bosses at times. Especially the Butcher and Belial and a few more. And in actV also Urzael was hard.
