Legacy of Dreams - Triple bonus for Primal Ancient Items?

I’d like to suggest enchanting second attribute of LoD to:
‘This bonus is doubled for Ancient Items and tripled for Primal Ancient Items’

This change could bring a bit more diversity for META as LoD builds after introducing new sets became a bit mediocre. It is also not an easy matter to achieve full primal gear so such solution would bring quite a challenge to accomplish while looking forward into Diablo IV.

Do you think such change balances itself properly with time necessary to gather full primal gear? Could it be well rewarding grind quest while waiting for D4?

It does not bring more diversity!!! Why do people think giving extra buff for primals would do that? All builds, whether based on sets or LoD, require specific items with specific affixes. No matter how extra buff primals recieved, it would not change build requirements. All it would is making existing LoD builds more powerful and primals themselves mandatory.

I really wish Blizzard would just remove primals altogether. It was a completely unnecessary layer of RNG this game didn’t need.

I mean diversity because of higher dmg output. Current max with full Ancients is 9100% buff. This makes mostly T16 builds, most even lacking damage to clean T16 as fast as set items. Only few chosen builds are substantial to clean Grifts.

With triple buff for primal it would be 13 650% buff. This is around equal to current new DH strafe set and some other set items, but no way as easy to achieve. It could make pretty much every creative LoD build proper to clean T16 and more possibilities for Grifts.

No, it’s not. It’s 375% per non-ancient, and 750% per ancient / primal. As almost no builds use two-handed weapons, that means there are 13 gear pieces, so that’s 13 * 750% = 9750%

If that became triple for primals, that’d be 13 * 1125% = 14625%
That’s higher than a lot of sets’ six piece bonuses.

The current maximum for LoD is 13x 375% x2 = 9750%. That’s a very beefy buff, on par compared to class sets, even above in multiple cases. Some LoD builds are already super powerful. Take the Hydra build as an example, pretty much above all other wizard builds. Then there’s Grim Scythe build for the necro.

If you think LoD is mostly only T16 viable, you’re playing it wrong. LoD needs zero buff of any kind. Stop using your (presumably) bad skills to create viable builds as an excuse for terrible ideas.
