The graphics are fine, im guessing you have never played a isometric game before?

No, the 2000 version would be Diablo II, in 800x600 resolution.

and what about the unHide walls? Have u see that?? I dont know about u, but i play in a 27’ Monitor, and some times my gameplay area is only one little square.
This game fail in all!

I have a screen at about 24 inches and can fit the game perfectly in several modes and resolutions.

this game has literally no sharpness to it. it looks old.
ive seen indie hack and slash games that looks by far better than this.

we have 4k capabilities these days (and even 8k) and its getting quiet common in new games. there is no excuse for this… thing.

Other than it came out almost seven and a half years ago, you mean?

And just about 3/4 of the world population aren’t event able to distinguish the difference between regular HD and so-called better “4K” resolutions. :eyeglasses:

Ok cool, so maybe my numbers are fudged a little.

The point is I’m playing Diablo 3 today on exactly the same hardware I did 7 years ago, and it plays fine. Tried it on a friends computer about 2 years ago at 2560x1440 resolution. He arguably has way better hardware than I do, and guess what? My experience was worse off. :rage:

For movies, I’ll go 4K at most. Games? 1920x1080 HD Resolution is all I need, thanks…:+1:

Contact customer service or the shop and ask for a refund. I’m sure they’ll give you a smile… and a healthy laughter

i dont understand why there is an argument here… its a clear fact the characters and many objects are not sharp and game isnt detailed enough.
that is not a good thing.
or maybe you havent played the campaign in a while ?
*7 years isnt THAT old. older games than that look way better.

I am playing on a 17" / 4K and it looks OK ? If you can describe what exactly it is you do not like in your display / resolution ?

I re-adjust all the settings on low to avoid lag and it is STILL sharp enough

Actually, where gaming is concerned, 7 years is a very long time.

You need to remember that back then, widescreen aspect ratios where only starting to become popular. My first foray into Diablo 3 was on an 18" CRT monitor at 1024x768 resolution.

And just like then, only now are 4K and above displays becoming popular. Gaming companies do support those higher resolutions, but will be committing business suicide if they release products that do not support the older systems.

It is my belief that 4K or better is still not popular or widespread enough to warrant releasing games that work exclusively on those resolutions.

I have one question for you, though - What does playing Campaign versus Adventure Mode have to do with the output quality of the on-screen visuals?

Prometheus, your points are true but it’s no use discussing with types like OP who are hell bent on their opinion… It’s like reasoning with somebody who insists on having crit affixes on a thorns build… Sorry, couldn’t help it

I have read this thread again and am not sure what the OP is having an issue with, how much better could the graphics have been? Which other isometric game should I look at for example?

i call bullshit. if the game is capable of supporting it and you have the right gear to support it, you WILL be able “see” 4k gaming.

its like most of you are blind or something…
i enjoy the game the way it is, but im still allowed to criticize its [obvious] flaws.

Remember too that a majority of gamer out there do not have the right gear. Assuming of course that the term “right gear” means the absolute leading edge top-end gear that is available on the market.

Most people, like myself, can only afford lower-end gaming rigs.

I never said you couldn’t. What I meant to say was if you play the game in 1920x1080 resolution, it plays fine. If you play in 2560x1440, it also plays fine.

The point was that for most it doesn’t make a difference which resolution you play at. But as I said earlier, I firmly believe that for now, 4K and above is better suited for movies.

Maybe this will help:

The most important factors to remember are the quality of your eyesight, the size of your screen and the distance you sit from that screen when watching it.

Can the Human Eye See the Difference Between 1080p and 4K?

If you turn off anti aliasing and press the “z” button you’ll see that edges of objects are knife sharp… or did somebody expect photorealistic imaging?

Maybe I can help you being I am using a 4K 17.3" laptop: the difference going from FHD to UHD is night and day, not only in gaming, but just every day tasks, the quality of the letters and everything else, simply browsing forums. What Apple call “retina” displays. You talk about FHD being “fine” but heck, a 6" phone has better than FHD and has been so for many, many years now. I am surprised
in 2019 they still flog FHD to unsuspected customers…

Here are some examples of panel resolutions found on very popular products vs their size:

Samsung S10, 6.1", 3040x1440, 551 DPI
iPhone 7+, 5.5", 1920x1080, 400 DPI
Galaxy A70, 6.7", 2400x1080, 392 DPI
iPhone 6S, 4.7", 1334x750, 325 DPI
Alienware 17.3", 3840x2160, 254 DPI
Macbook Pro 13.3", 2560x1600, 226 DPI

And this are the archaic panels better belonging in a museum:

QHD 17.3" = 169 DPI
QHD 22" = 133 DPI
FHD 17.3" = 127 DPI
FHD 22" = 100 DPI

You must try a good 4K panel (100% Adobe RGB is also paramount), you will never go back.

Actually, I did do that once:

As I said, my experience was worse off.

Highlighting the benefits of the various HD resolutions out there, as awesome as they are, is just not a good enough reason for me to switch from 1920x1080 for gaming.

I support the advancement of technology just as much as the next guy. But advancement for advancements sake is not advancement.
