for some bizarre reason i kept a primal squirt’s necklace. will the new legendary power just pop up on that old item (like when changes to sets are made) or do i have to farm a new one?
my guess is the latter… 
You’ll need to farm a new one, existing legendaries don’t get retroactively updated to new versions.

thank you for clearing that up and enabling me to salvage that waste of space…
i think i got to get rid of many primals without legendary powers on them now.
Does rerolling work or is it 100% refarming once 2.6.6 hits?
Set items (green items) do get updated tho, sadly legendary items not.
Rerolling does not work, you have to refarm the item.
Sets can be updated because the set bonuses are not tied to specific items.
