Why limit us to just 1 crafted primal item, it just doesn’t make any sense, hardcore players are gonna get full primal anyways, so it’s just artificial limitation for casual players.
D3 is on it’s final breath, so give players opportunity to deck their characters before the end.
I suppose you mean hardcore players in the sense players that invest a lot of time in playing the game? One could say that it’s only fair that people who invest more time in doing something also deserve a reward. If not things like paragon points should also be capped. But where is the limit?
You could use the new recipe for other sets or for other heroes. You can also use it to make ancient puzzle rings.
Yeah, exactly what I meant, it’s true that you CAN use it for other sets or puzzle ring, but why limit us? They are dancing around people who spent 12 hours a day on a game, it just doesn’t make any sense for a consumer.
Diablo III is, at its core, a loot-hunting game. Allowing players to craft what is, potentially, literally perfect gear for every gear slot would mean the end of that hunt. When that happens the only thing left is the paragon grind. Limiting the crafted primals to one equipped per hero means you can target a specific, important piece of your build whilst still leaving you stuff to hunt for.
You could also say that the “no lifers” that play around the clock are taking advantage of the game or are playing in a way that wasn’t intended?
Using more than one of the crafted primal items could also be seen as an unfair advantage for players that play more than others - becuse crafting a primal with the right stats can take a lot of tries (rings, amulets, offhands, gloves etc).
Besides that it’s standard procedure for Blizzard that only one special item can be used at the same time, like ethereals in season 24 and sanctified objects in season 27.
In essence there is nothing to do but play the game and enjoy it in your own pace.
Ive been doing the loot hunt for a long time. On the main chars nearly everything is primal and the only item that isnt has the same stats as primal. Heck, even 2 ancient witching hour belts are as optimal. The only choice is to equip the followers with primals but they really don’t need them. I suppose could just go another class altogether and start the hunt again…
If you’re looking for something to do…
This is what i will do. I ts going to be the barb
If you have good ancients, you have nothing to be jealous of primals. Usually, a primal weapon (assuming it rolled with the desired stats) is indeed very nice because it rolls with the highest possible raw damage. For some generic pieces (armor, pants, etc.), primal or ancients it makes no significant difference. The ancient could be a couple of dozen stats below which is like 5 paragons in terms of main stat. For some rings or amulets, even a normal legendary can be better than a primal.
Roll luck. The travellers pledge i used for a long time was 10% crit chance , 98% crit damage and a socket already. The 1st primal didn’t have either crits. Rings and amulets (and gloves) are about pure damage too.
There actually is a cap. 20000 paragons. It has been reached in 2021.
