Hey Blizzard, Would you be so kind and remove anything about your dirty stinking Diablo 4 from my Diablo 3 favourite in battlenet. I dont want to see or read anything about D4. Im not interested in seeing how long time its left on your stinky d4 sale, Dont want to see anything about witchcraft season, JUST I DONT WANT TO SEE DIABLO 4. If i wanted to see i could have made another d4 favourite (LOL yea right).

No, if you start the diablo iii.exe, it starts the battlenet launcher at diablo3 page.
You need to modify the target of your shortcut by adding the launch switch… as in:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\x64\Diablo III64.exe” -launch
(note: ensure you put a space before the minus sign)
Keeping BNet minimized in the Windows System Tray is another way of not seeing ads for other games. Right-click on the BNet icon in the tray and select Diablo iii when you want to play.
There have been many requests in several forums to remove ads and news from BNet… all without success. I suppose that’s what happens when “bean counters” are in charge.
