Just going to point out…

Below you’ll find the patch notes for the upcoming update to Diablo III: Patch 2.7.5 . This patch goes live on February 21 at 11:30 a.m. PST .

At the time of this post, it’s currently 09:49 Pacific Time…

…so the patch will be applied to live servers in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes time which will make all the set bonus changes and the primal crafting recipe available to non-seasonal heroes.

I’m looking forward to this primal crafting recipe. We’ve all salvaged dozens of primals for 15 forgotten souls per item. That is fine if you’re low on crafting material but some of us have tens of thousands of forgotten souls.

This patch goes live on February 21 at 11:30 a.m. PST .

Well, it’s currently 12:00 PST and it’s still not live.

I just logged out of the b/net app, logged in again and it auto updated

I ended up having a massive and long-overdue clear-out of my non-seasonal stash…

Plenty of materials to try making some tasty primals.
I also now have 8 completely empty Stash tabs, and 2 more are half empty.

Congrats! That must have been a few dozen primals.

were the paragon levels from my season char. supposed to be moved to my non-seasonal characters paragon? instead of the standard 70 paragon levels? i logged in and i had hundreds of paragon levels from my season 27 character ready to be added to all my normal characters paragon

When the season ends, it’s not the paragons that are added but the XP acquired during this season.

If I take my example:

Paragons
Non season, before S27 3785
S27 2750
Non season, after S27 4120

You can use some calculators like https://d3bg.org/paragon-calculator/en.php or https://www.diablo3gemcalculator.com/ to find out what your paragon will be at the end of a season.

I’ve to find the courage to do the same

As Strix says, when Season 27 ended on Friday, all of the XP you earned during the season is added to the XP you’ve earned non-seasonal, and your non-seasonal paragon is adjusted to take into account the new total XP earned.

The calculator sites do, indeed, give a good indication of the new paragon level you’ll achieve based on your seasonal and non-seasonal paragon levels, but it’s also nice to show what the calculations are based on, which is the XP needed to reach certain paragon levels. For that, you can use this…

http://rerollcalculator.com/Paragon

Okay, so…

  • XP needed to get from Paragon 1 to Paragon 3785 = ~806.017 trillion XP
  • XP needed to get from Paragon 1 to Paragon 2750 = ~296.962 trillion XP
  • XP needed to get from Paragon 1 to Paragon 4120 = ~1.054 quadrillion XP

~806.017 trillion XP + ~296.962 trillion XP = ~1.102 quadrillion XP

This is all because the XP needed to increase 1 paragon level is larger for each successive paragon level, i.e. it takes way more XP to go from Paragon 1000 to 1001 than it does to go from Paragon 1 to 2.

i totally misunderstood this. i didn’t know that XP gained is converted to Paragon XP on normal, i thought for some reason that getting to seasonal max level (lvl70) would give you 70 paragon levels and that would be it

Like Strix and Meteorblade show, it is the xp. The higher your paragon on non season, the lower the number of paragon points added at the end of season for the same level of points earned

I did this and have 4,800 but its fine as nearly all the primals were never used and have been sitting around for years. It even included salvaging entire sets that just never got used

can you you FIX your servers? i can’t play this game right now becasue it is terrible
i hit something and i move back where i was 1 sec ago…

Live maybe, but completely unplayable. Even if you can get past the 20 odd minute queues, the lag is getting pretty heavy. More than one server powered by a hamster for a new season is preferable.

Yeah, can’t play the game at all, just hangs all the time.
