So its not a secret that D3 is in maintenance mode. I am grateful that we get a season every 3-4 months as it gives me solid 1-2 weeks of fun at the good old cozy game I love.
But now we have cycled through all possible season themes (I think?) and I was wondering, whats next? Are we gonna cycle once more? Or maybe…
I was hoping we would see a season where we have combined themes.
For example have LoD + Angelic Weapons or 4 Cube slots + Angelic (which would be a dream for me since I am SO need to play Magic Missle LoD Sorc with Aether Walker in 4th slot).
Maybe there are some other cool combos.
I don’t know if Blizzard real this. Can we even hope for something like this?
Lots of players have lots of fun with the game for more than one or two weeks. Many of the themes have several interesting builds and possibilities for several classes… including the necromancer… that you don’t have… yet… 
Diablo 3 was done after the first expansion. Now you play it or you don’t. When Blizzard announces that D3 will be shut down that is the end.
There was second expansion as well?
AFAIK D3 had only one, and that’s Reaper of Souls. Necromancer playable class is more of an add-on rather than expansion since it does not introduce story Act VI.
Nonetheless since it seems inevitable for Blizzard to eventually close the service for D3 since they hardly can maintain online single player/co-op game forever, question is how long will be the game still available, and if there is any possibility for final update that would allow to play offline afterwards, as long as you authenticate through battle.net launcher.
Otherwise whether D3 will receive remake just like D2 got Resurrected.
