Pardon, cannot find where to report bugs in new forum. I’ll just drop it here.
During battle I was with stone gauntlet’s 5 stacks, Akarat’s form ended, and as I refreshed it noticed, that character could no longer use left click attack after initial short period (which in itself is annoying). After further clicking on stuff, it was clear - character could no longer use left click attack, teleport back to town, open gates, pass to another rift level. Bug persisted even after death. Tried minimizing-maximizing game, unplugging and plugging back in mouse and keyboard, nothing helped. Rift was ruined for both of us.
Blizzard, please fix this bug, or redesign the way drawback from gloves work.

It’s probably not related to the gloves. I haven’t seen other reports like this. Stone Gauntlets are used extensively by crusaders and also by barbs so if there was a general problem there would be lots of posts about it. You probably just was the “victim” of a random glitch, server error or something.
Well, that “something” needs to be fixed, because every time akarat’s form wears off and 5-stack-no-attack interval happens, it creates bad feeling, that raises a question whether character will be able to attack and so on afterwards?
It happens every time? If you can easily recreate the bug by creating 5 stacks of stone gauntlets effect as Akarat’s champion wears off, you might be able to help diagnose it.
Start by stacking less than 5 stone gauntlets effects as Akarat wears off, does the bug happen again? Try changing Akarat’s champion runes to see if the bug persists across all runes. Try recreating the bug with a second pair of stone gauntlets if you can spare the mats to make another pair.
The more information you can give them about when the bug happens, the easier it will be to fix. If you can find something that prevents the bug from happening, that will help a lot.
The whole point of the gloves is that they give a beneficial effect (the extra armour) and detrimental effects (the slowing). The way to negate the detrimental effects is to either equip the Ice Climber boots or to maintain 100% up-time on Akarat’s Champion. If you’re letting AC drop off, you are supposed to suffer the detrimental effects. This is by design. This is not a bug.
Not being able to left-click / interact with stuff is though.

This happened to me twice by the way…after killing the guardian, i cant change zones or pick stuff or click on urshi…party left the game as the only solution.
