I guess a lot of players will choose barbarian this season (spin to win!) as it will be a strong character. A stumbling stone for many on the road to Conqueror or even Guardian, for obtaining cosmetics and/or a missing stash tab, is mastering a set dungeon.
From what I’ve seen the Wastes dungeon is, or was, one of the most difficult set dungeons (IK being the easier one). So you either do the Wastes dungeon (after getting some tips from youtube videos and google searchs) or you use the Immortal set pieces that you get along the way and do the IK set dungeon.
or make a demon hunter for second char and do the easy peasy marauder dungeon
- Play WhirlRend and work on your Wastes gear.
- Whilst doing so, collect Immortal King gear.
- When you have the IK gear, put it on but remain in your WW build, swapping out an ability for Call of the Ancients
- Run the IK dungeon in your WW build with the ancients out
I did exactly this on the PTR and completed the IK dungeon in under 2 minutes as it’s incredibly easy to maintain up-time on the ancients / wotb whilst spinning.
I knew Meteorblade had a smart solution
To Zwiebel, I’ve always done the Nat’s dungeon because I found it the easyest. Last time with some multishot equipment. Marauder’s was a pain when dungeons were introduced.
This past season, I did my set dungeon on the Hunter, I was told it was easier than the other classes, you got to keep 3 sentries going. Took me a few tries.
i ve finished every barb set dungeons and the wastes are the worst!
easiest is the immortal king so don’t salvage it when you find.
lvling a second char is also very inefficient.
you have to lvl it, find a set, hope that set is the easy one.
just do the immortal king.
if you wanna lvl another easy class to do set dungeons lvl the necromancer.
i also done all necro setdungeons and necro’s all set dungeons are very very easy. it is the easiest class for set dungeons so every set item you find works well.
im going to try that too. maybe M found something great and easy
Yeah I did all the set dungeons some years ago and can still remember how much I hated the Wastes one.
Has anyone ever tried Molten Wildebeest’s Gem in this dungeon?
I wonder if the Shielding effect can negate the hardest part of this dungeon, no physical damage.
Hehe looks like I’m still missing the Wastes achievement
well thats something I need to fix this time.
I think I tested it once but it was annoying.
