“Claimed”??! I see proof that he wipes the floor with you in each and every argument… “it doesn’t count if you had group help to get there” like a child refusing to acknowledge the obvious and coming up with obscure excuses: "no, I didn’t lose the race. I only came in last because the sun was in my eyes… there were a bunch of leaves in my path… the other guys cheated… my shoes weren’t properly laced… I took a detour in the race to make the distance longer… I’m really the winner…
The reason it took a couple of hours is that I had to generate her entire set of gear, by crafting rares at the blacksmith and using the cube’s “Upgrade rare to legendary” recipe, and some very basic re-rolls at the Mystic.
You can clearly see from the d3planner link and in-game screenshot that the paragon level I had on the Wizard is exactly the same as my other non-seasonal heroes, and that I had not allocated all of the points. I allocated just enough of them so that I had almost the same INT as your Wizard, but ensured I still had less than yours.
This was to have a roughly level playing field on INT as your Wizard is wearing ancients / primals, with Caldesann’s Despair augments, and mine is wearing a couple of ancients and the other pieces are standard legendaries, with zero augments. Even doing so, my Wizard had under a third of the damage that yours does.
Let me re-iterate…
I did a higher GR than you, with less INT and a third of your damage!
Claimed? I showed screenshots of me doing it!
I didn’t. Would you like me to show screenshots of my era records screen showing my highest 2-man, 3-man and 4-man clearances, none of which include a Wizard and were set days ago? Are you sure you want to be proved wrong again? Okay…
Highest 2-man GR in era (GR125 on 16th August 2020)…
Highest 3-man GR in era (GR118 on 13th November 2020)…
Highest 4-man GR in era (GR90 on 13th November 2020)…
All of those runs were done prior to my Wizard even existing.
So, in under four hours I created her, self-levelled her 1-70 (using the gear from the 13/13 primals thread), crafted gear at the Blacksmith, upgraded rares to legendaries in the Cube to generate the required items for the build, then did some GR runs.
You did a GR110 after five months with a Wizard with almost 8 million damage.
I did a GR115 after four hours with a Wizard with just over 3 million damage.
You say you’ve got a good imagination.
Imagine what I could do with 8 million damage Wizard…
And what, pray tell, is your reason for wanting to “complete” a hero in such a hurry?
And don’t give the lame excuse of not having time to do it any other way.
I, for one, average perhaps 3 non-consecutive hours of game time per day if I’m lucky. I’d love to see you achieve the same results where you get to play for 20 minutes, are forced to go do something else for an unspecified amount of time (like doing work), and then come and play some more only to be interrupted again.
This actually is another reason why I only search for items in the battlefield of bounties, nephalem rifts or grifts, and don’t play hardcore.
Oh so slippery! You always come up with something different trying to vindicate yourself.
Time is not of importance here. You make some wild claims and accusations about another player and when he comes up with simple proofs and examples you refuse to accept the truth.
But please go on. This thread is so entertaining
I wanted to show you that within just a few hours I could create a Wizard with worse gear than yours, less INT than yours, five million less damage than yours, and still beat your solo GR record by 5 GR levels, all on a hero class that even you admit that I’ve hardly even played, and using a set that didn’t even exist the last time I played one (over a year ago, when I did all the set dungeon masteries).
My Wizard existed for under four hours, over two days. That’s two less hours than you say you have available. Most of that time was spent gambling rares into legendaries at the Cube to get the required items for the build, so could happily have been non-contiguous sessions.
I’m struggling to think of a single thing you’ve asked me for proof of in this thread that I haven’t shown you screenshots of, proving what I said to be true.
I eagerly await your comeback with a screenshot of your Wizard’s glorious GR116 clearance so you can claim some sort of victory.
Oh, by the way, as the whole reason for making a Wizard called “ProveMyPoint” was to prove a point, and that point has been amply proven, I deleted her last night.
Are you saying that his screenshots of said hero are fake?
Maybe the fail is on your side? Just as you seem to have a problem interacting in a sensible way with other people on this forum you could also have a problem interacting in multiplayer games and therefore shy away from that too?
By the way, I’m genuinely curious how you’re going to do that yourself this season, as this season’s conquests are…
Boss Mode - Kill all bosses in 20 minutes
On a Good Day - Level 3 gems to rank 65
Masters of the Universe - Get set dungeon Mastery for 8 sets
Years of War - Complete solo GR55s in six different set armours
Sprinter - Complete entire Campaign in under an hour
You’re going to play just a single hero for the entire season, right?
You can’t do the conquests that require more than one class.
You can’t mix and match softcore and hardcore conquests.
There’s no way you’re going to solo Sprinter.
No, no, not a hero that can prove my point (i.e. a future, hypothetical outcome), a hero that proved my point (i.e. a fact, that has already happened).
By the way, I’m genuinely curious how you’re going to do that yourself this season, as this season’s conquests are…[/quote]
That’s easy enough to answer.
