Quick question, I wonder whether the regular legendary items will be upgraded in the new patch like set items? In the past, usually only set items get updated, not the regular legendary.
I have to farm all the upgraded items again in every new patch but in the last patch, I didn’t have to farm that ring (ring of emptiness) for WD. I didn’t notice the rest like Death Wish or Mantle of Channelling. So didn’t really bother on that.
So I wonder will they update our current existing items like Holy Point Shot for DH or do I have to get a new one again when the new patch comes. If it is, then will they downgrade our current Reaper Wraps or will they stay same as it is?

In general, set items (green) and cubed powers are retroactive; legendary (orange) items are NOT retroactive. (A nerf is usally retroactive.)
There could be exceptions, i.e. ring of emptiness in last patch. They didn’t change the power of Death Wish and Mantle; they changed their mechanics.
I’m certain that you need to farm a new Holy Point Shot because of the new range “75-100%”.
It is a nerf, IMO; so it will be retroactive.
Reaper wraps now have an inner cooldown. They won’t change the item description so I don’t think it’s gonna make any difference now new or old. The item just got nerfed. Have no idea about the simulacrum ring though ( don’t remember the name) since it could be exactly the same case as with ring of emptiness

I really hope that they upgrade those items but not down grade the current one like reaper wraps cause it is very useful item to collect heath globe to get the mage out. DH alone has 5 weapon, 1 belt plus the whole new set. Look like so many items this time to farm.
Last patch has 3 new sets but didn’t feel like a lot since I don’t have to worry about weapons. Easy to get all 6 pieces from the cube but weapons can be harder since it has 1 in 100 chance of getting the right item. Then re-roll and hope that it gives you the stat that you need. Especially Holy Point shot which is so difficult to get the right stat. I remember when I got it, it ate all my mats and souls from months of collecting and it wasn’t even primal.
Changes like this are the worst for casual players. I have spend millions just to reroll the stats on the HPS. (14 million is 1 reroll! And still haven’t got 15% on impale ffs. Thx alot RNG)Now it will be useless like just like the rest of old items…
Some rolls has very low ratio, like Elite Damage bonus. It is normal.
