Will we ever get more stash space in D3?

With all the amazing things we’re getting in season 28, I am wondering if we might get more stash space at some point. Even if it’s only one or two tabs, it would mean a lot for us hoarders

They specifically stated long ago that the stash content of all players in the same session has to be synced between the players. The items aren’t just some static objects, they have a lot scripting attached to them as well and that’s what causes the excess load. The engine just can’t handle properly more than 13 tabs full of items from 4 players.

They tried to increase the total to 17 tabs but they discovered issues.

Do you have the five extra tabs that are available by doing season journeys up to and including the conqueror chapter?

I’m a hoarder too but sometimes you have to clean up and throw stuff away (I mean salvage of course)… especially just before season end to avoid going through a lot of emailed stuff. (And hold on salvaging primals before next patch, which I forgot to mention, as Meteorblade points out below).

I don’t see how we need more space in season 28. It’s also important go through our non season heroes and stash to see what is not needed anymore and which heroes can be deleted or emptied in order to be reborn for next season.

A final solution is to buy the digital deluxe edition which will give your account three more character slots - but not more stash space.

This will become especially relevant when Patch 2.7.5 gets applied next Tuesday, as that will make available the new Cube recipe for “primalising” legendaries, using the ash materials which are obtained from salvaging primals. I’ve taken a look at my non-seasonal stash and have at least two full tabs that are full of useless primals that I’m going to melt down for materials. I’ve also crafted some Holy Point Shot quivers ready for gambling with that recipe.
