Yeah. Eternal realm players have gotten screwed 6 times in 15 months.
We haven’t gotten cut a break once.
There is no reason to make eternal items item lv 540 in s6. Eternal players who have been grinding shouldn’t get sent back to square one every 2.5 months.
This is a dead game if they keep going down this path.
The fact they haven’t course corrected and changed the eternal items to max lv when s6 drops is an indication of their intent to be to screw eternal players as often as possible.
I dont get your point. Your items will become 540 yes but an expansion is coming which expands the item power.
Wouldnt technicaly this mean that your items are bis for 50 then you progress to the expansion to get better gear which goes higher ???

I really really dont understand and not to mention that this is an ARPG and for years and years all arpgs work on a season/league basis. Truth is they keep updating the game every 3 months and thats a good thing stop crying and play it as it was meant to be played. Leveling to 100 is a joke anyways

Honestly don’t get what your problem is besides that there are maybe too many itemization changes in a short time. How does the ilvl squish bring you back to square one? All that happens is that characters will be level 50 at start of expansion with 925 items scaled down to 540 which is going to be the max ilvl item you can get at that level pre-expansion.
This seems like it’s quite evident for most people so instead of creating multiple topics you should just think it through first.

I replied : Scale doesn’t make difference like every new wow expension, ur gear still the same, the content after will give better stuff.

i’ve been saying on forums since Season 1 that the game needs work, the lack of creativty and understanding from the team is beyond the abysses. So what is you point?

Brace yourself man. The plan is to do this on purpose over and over and over again, so that you will never be able to even get close to feeling like any of your characters is “finished”.
It’s a public secret they want us to play the game for 10+ years and they sure as hell are doing their best to keep us thirsty until they reach that mark. Thing is, if we’re smart we shouldn’t stick around and log in regularly while they keep doing this.
The moment player retention drops significantly is actually the moment we’ll get the nice stuff.
I, personally, want to have some closure at least once in the three decades I’ve been playing this series. If they keep actively refusing to give me that closure for whatever reason, well, we part our ways. It will be extremely stupid if that’s how it ends but, hey, if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work…
The crazy part is they’d make more money if they treat us better, this isn’t rocket science.
Even if greed is their primary motivator they aren’t even doing that right. Because to treat us better costs them next to nothing and it gives them everything.
Our money is not the most valuable thing they can get from us. It’s our loyalty that is truly valuable. Them getting money from us is a biproduct of our loyalty. The more loyal I am the looser with my money I’ll be.
It’s simple math. Whoever thought making us go through 15 months of beta 6 itemization changes and to get super nerfed into expansion is a mad man.
It feels bad.
It would have felt better if all 925 go to 800 and we can’t wear them till we get 10 levels.
Make an exception for once and treat us with some dignity and respect. Or keep disrespecting your players and see where it gets you in the end.
