I’ve done my 500th duriel run today, no uber, nothing, nada, zero.
According to chatGPT, there is 0.000000122% chance for this to happen.
Don’t tell me it’s random, bad luck or whatever, it’s impossible.
And i read about all those people who got 3 or 4 ubers in 100 runs lol.
There must be some bless/curse depending on battletag, no idea but something is definitely wrong here.
Maybe the dev heard me cause in the last 2 hours i got 1 starless sky, 1 grandfather and 1 doombringer.
I dont understand this game but i wont complain.
Nobody does, not even the devs

Just luck i suppose. The Harlequin Crest dropped for me after 12th try on Duriel last week at 925 level and all stats are maxed out on it. Its worth it as it’s made my season 2 mage amazing.
Time will see if the season 3 strip down of my now build will make the game worth my time going forward.
They’re always max, there’s no variance.
Being lucky, now after 500 runs, do you feel blessed? Do you feel it was worth it? Is it fun playing now? And more importantly: Was it fun doing this?
I am discontent with my 300 runs for my single Harlequin. I only had fun with the Helltides and partly with the seasonal area, and I had fun leveling before that.
The Helltides are tinted red, I point this out and some might think that’s a minor issue but let me tell you that this entire thing is about experience. Real experience. And when the only area you want to visit is tinted red and the other area is tinted green you start questioning the reality awareness of the developers that made the decision to make it that way.
Duriel was not fun, it was not fun running 300 of that. When I got Harlequin I was mildly satisfied but then I realised that my build is trash and that it doesn’t matter what gear I have because I was already crushing Helltides. Then I got the AoZ rune and was doubly crushing Helltides, the only thing I previously considered fun.
This is a paid beta. They’re trying to figure out what this is about and so am I.
I got my hundreds of hours of gaming and it was good, great. Game over then.
My advice is to not run Duriel at all. Play to 60-70 and then put the game down because it ends there even if there is an illusory continuance.
Yes I am salty because I was stupid enough to do Duriel. I am salty because I feel tricked that there was something to get. The only thing you get at Duriel is a bad experience of the game.
Is this what we’re doing? Are we doing this Season 3 also? Is it a new boss this time: Mephisto? I’m not running this. Idgaf if my gear is garbage for it, I’m not doing it. Not without a reason. The reason can’t be itself. I refuse to do Helltides so I can bore at Duriel to run Helltides for bore at Duriel. Whoever came up with this is an idiot.
Anyway… Congratulations to your items. Hope you enjoy them, and that’s not sarcastic.
My plan is to chill with the quick to drop lucky nice gear I have now during season 3 in tier 3 and not care about any more grinding or Uba stuff once the powerful blood harvest pact items disappear.
Something I have had in mind for a while now. But you never know season 3 may well be so tempting and awesome I cant resist.
It wasnt fun. TBH, i almost gave up and uninstalled.
But it’s like bodybuilding, you’re not having fun doing it, you’re satisfied with the results of your efforts. It has always been like that in every RPG i played and i dont really understand people talking about “fun” for endless grind. Even if a boss or an area is well designed, i refuse to believe people still have fun with it on their 500th run. The main issue here, you’re right, is that you dont have any use of your insane power once you are fully geared, since you were already oneshoting almost everything in the game before getting it.
Worst is when you see casual people getting uber in 2 runs while you are still naked after 400. You know they will abandon the game in 1 month anyway so you’re like “for god sake, give these rewards to people who have the time and dedication to enjoy them !”.
Yea sure, ok; I don’t expect a full roflol my entire play but I don’t want to feel bad about grinding for something I don’t want to do and once I’m done with it my game is done also.
And it’s NOTHING like body building! It’s more like body deterioration… well, literally anyway. You feel good from working out. It’s tough to be disciplined and it hurts but you always feel like a prince afterwards. … Ok, maybe your analogy is acceptable but still…
I think there should be a failsafe. We should get progressively greater chances to drop something with each visit until we do get a drop.
Weigh them also, so it’s harder to get the same thing again. Met a guy that had dropped 3 andy’s but no harlequin. I said I wanted to try andy’s. We played and it dropped for him. Gz, I said, and we continued in silence.
Or the other idea: Let us “meld” or exchange 2 ubers for a random one.
This guy I heard about had like 13 but not the one he wanted.
Anyway, I really think there should be a failsafe. Everyone gets a medal if they keep at it.
You are playing casino simulator it’s just have different skin
Look at bosses like machines and you just pull that lever everytime you kill it
In realcasino you lose money and time
in this game you lose mainly time that you could spend earning money
They are clever these companies they know exactly how to touch your brain to do something…
example on Facebook right now when you go to REELS there is a tons of adds for mobile games if you noticed or maybe not
and there in those games they told you to download it
and it’s funny cause in trailer they always lose
and someone explained to me that this is also a tactic because you will think that you can do it better so you will download this game
as i said clever strategies are being made
even if it is 2%… its 2% every time u go there… and that be now or never… is not like u did it 500 times so your chances are beyond 100% now… no , your 501 try will have 2 % chance for… its so stupid i dont even bother…
the boring thing was (i stopped play season2) i got every uber but shako and you couldnt progress in zir without shako so i just gave up instead, and you wasted alla gold trying to buy uber duriel mats becous it took way to long to farm them so eventually you dident have any gold left to respecc or buy mats and at that point it dident feel worth to play anymore since the season wernet that long anyway. this is a problem with d4, theres like 1 thing to do and if you cant get the stuff you need to do that you just stop play. and i dident give up early either i think i did like 3000-4000 uber duriels, most ppl i know did perhaps 100-200 and than dropped the game bcouse they dident get any ubers… if the game were atleast fun to play people wouldnt mid farming, but to get that you need to do this 200000 times and to get that you need to do something else 30000 times. it doesnt work ppl just give up. the most fun time i hade in d4 yet was pre season, when lilith was hard, tier 100 nm was hard you dident need ubers and do the same boss 1000000 times to get them. it was even possible for everyone to pvp not just the ones with buged chars and ubers
4000 runs is omega oof.
Sorry you didn’t get your thing.
There’s a suggestion we could melt ubers for a chance of a random uber. Also the idea that we could melt more of them for a specific uber.
I’d also like it if chances of getting an uber increased with every visit. That way people would never be stuck having done hundreds of runs without getting what they want.
or if ubers could drop elsewhere aswell, becouse it so damn boring to farm the mats for druiel and do duriel so many times. he was never a challange either mostly like a one shot kill, very boring.
Yea, they should drop much more in the world. I read it’s about 1 in 1.2b that one drops in the world. Come on…
