I played the free trial version of Diablo 4 on Steam for 3 hours and selected a character from the paid expansion. Today, I decided to buy the Standard Edition of the game. I created a new character (a Sorcerer), and error code 316610 popped up immediately.
Here is what I have already tried to fix it:
- Cleared Steam download cache
- Changed my Battle.net password
- Verified the integrity of game files on Steam
- Created new Barbarian and Druid characters, trying both the campaign option and the endgame skip option
None of these steps helped.
