It would be nice to have the option to be able to keep SHIFT hold postion and use SHIFT + LMB to attack while still having LMB as Move & interact normally. Ranged spells atm seem fine but melee can feel awkward.
I had the same problem attacking by accident instead of moving away and there is a workaround.
Unclick the “Combine move/interact/basic ability”. Now LEAVE the basic ability empty (no keybind assigned), and bind left click with Move and Interact.
You can now move freely and if you want to atack with the Left Click spell, use SHIFT+Left Click.
