Hello, I’ve played more than 20 hours of gameplay and unfortunately I report some annoying slowdowns especially when I take a portal and arrive in a city where there are several other players. I have a pc intel i9-13900k, 32GB Ram DDR5, 4k 60fps monitor, SSD disk and NVIDIA RTX 4070 TI graphics card, Win11. All video/OS/game drivers updated. The rest of the game is perfectly smooth with all details set to Ultra and 4k. What can these annoying slowdowns depend on? Maybe from the connection with the server of the game platform (I have a normal ADSL not the optical fiber)?
I think the slowdowns happen to everyone when they encounter new players. Its the game syncing your internet connections. I get this as well when in open world.
Thanks, that’s exactly right. Is there any way to fix these slowdowns? Should I boost my internet connection? Or play the game at lower graphics quality? Or is it a blizzard server optimization problem whereby just waiting for a patch or maybe an offline mode to avoid these annoying slowdowns in the game?
Only Blizz can solve this issue. Adjusting your options wont do a thing unfortunately.
