we dont have a way to track magic find really in nightmare dungeon, since just a FEW have seen it and found it, 2-3 ppl in the world i wonder, did they just spam normal dungeons at lvl 100? or did they find it in a specific high tier dungeon that had a higher chance of dropping uniques? , its all random, but if magic find scales with anything i would love to see it, but if your farming uniques and best in slot items why go above normal dungeon spams if you get the same gear as a t80 dungeon,
NOTE Im NOT talking about the XP buff we get for nm dungeons, but the MAGIC find
i see, so we could basicly find the best and most rarest items by doing anything and there is no reason to push nightmare dungeons if your glyphs are allread at lvl 21 , speed farming things like champions demise could be faster for gear upgrades then.

That is not what I meant. Out of all confirmed shako drops only 2 players have found a shako worldwide. This means that you’re not supposed to get one at all in a whole season. It has neither been confirmed which mobs drop it. But considering the player size & the confiremd droprates don’t think about getting one ever. Its probably like a mirror in PoE where some have 10.000 hours and havent found one.
its literally all about mobs killed :P, not hours played
i played d2 for 20 YEARS i know how farming for items like a stone of jordan or high runes was
it all comes down to efficient monster killing , the more you kill in a fast amount of time the better your chances for good loot over time, its simple math, but the reason im asking is, if there is any reason to do a nightmare dungeon to try and farm it or if nm dungeons does NOT increase magic find
Nightmare dungeons have the highest elite density, don’t they? I think it’s still the fastest way to grind items. The question is, does it make a difference if it’s nm50 or 100
You are never getting Shako or Grandfather, among the hundreds of millions of hours played there are no confirmed Grandfather drops and what 1 or 2 Shako drops? You’re never getting this item, it makes Tyraels Might from D2 seem like a supermarket mass produced item.
The game is made for the diablo influencers who call everyone else “casuals” with a very demeaning tone, meaning that people who work, have families, or simply a life outside their computers/consoles won’t ever find those items.
Maybe doing some achievement (like killing uber Lilith) will increase the drop chance of the item, otherwise it’s completely pointless in it’s current state. How many people play this game? Probably several million people, lets assume that it’s one million players who only played one hour in T4 and we have two Shaco drops. That’d be 500k hours on average for one drop. That’s like ~60 years of /played. It’s just a estimate (I was very careful with that estimate as I don’t know how many Shaco’s really droped so far) but it’s safe to say that Blizz could just remove the item from the game as well (assuming that there’s not a hidden mechanic to increase the drop chances).
Never heard an influence refer to a “casual” in a demeaning way, but you do you. Anyway, it doesn’t matter how hardcore or casual you are at this game, statistically speaking you’re never getting Shako or Grandfather in several lifetimes worth of playing unless they change the drop chances.
