Auto salvage legendaries and uniques

I really like how Blizzard made for dropping materials instead of white, blue and yellow items when unlocking torment 1. It would be nice to have a similar system for legendaries and uniques items that doesn’t have greater affixes. Starting on Torment 2, all legendaries and uniques that drops is automatically salvaged if they dont have a greater affix. When playing on torment 2 or higher , the only items you looking for anyway is items with greater affixes, this would solve that rain of loot issue Diablo 4 is plagued by.

I’ve been thinking the same thing: How we always end up being garbage disposers and how unnecessary that is.

Of course you don’t need regular legendaries for t2, you will want the +1 ga. I mean, sure u can use some stuff in t2 from the legendaries but really, optimally, u should go back to t1 and finish up if u do.

For t3 idk, but for t4 I must say that at some point you’re only looking for dual ga at least. That’ll always be useful, I think, because doubles are always sought for. They’re imperfect but u can reroll them freely making them a handy item if the two ga stats are good.
On t4 I suggest that only dual ga drops, all other things are salvaged. Or an option for this somewhere, like on the blacksmith… a dialogue perhaps. (having said this: my amu is single ga so…)

At least let us get rid of the legendaries from t2 and up, that’s a great suggestion and ty for making it.

I’d like to take a moment of loot and ask for a shrine in the city where we can make our wishes. A wishing well, a secluded shrine; a wise old woman… u go there to set ur wish: two stats, perhaps? Or three even. Special things too: mythics and uniques.
If u ask for crit for example, u get 1 higher chance getting crit. But if u ask for crit and ias, u only get 1/2+1/2 finding either. So spreading out for a specific combo has a lower success rate than looking for something specific.
dear blizzard, i wish for crit, ias and luck gloves.
or: dear blizzard, i wish for umbrous aspect.
or: dear blizzard, i wish for harlequin’s crest.
so these wishes would weigh our chances of procuring these various things and the greater the wish, the lesser the probability added. Something like that maybe.
Edit: Maybe it cost something? Gold, gems or maybe u find it: A lucky coin for the wishing well?
OR: Maybe it’s a talisman? Maybe it’s a talisman U CRAFT with the old seer? Crafting it u select wishes to imbue the talisman with… but it’s a bit random and it cost something. The talisman is its own slot and the only purpose it has is to enhance specific fortune. u may get lucky with the craft and get like a harlequin talisman really early… enhancing ur chances finding this particular item somewhere in the world with some percentage reasonable. A MAGIC FIND ITEM!

Yeah that was what I have been feeling for a long time now in Diablo 4, a garbage disposal. They really need to do something about this. I think it should stay at least 1 greater affix on 2 to 4 torment. Your ideas were cool and all, but Blizzard have chosen a more casual approach in Diablo 4 so a special npc to talk to get a specific favor in a stat I think would make things worse, but there is system in place to favor certain things for an example , an amulett that rolla automatic with a passive skill bonus… in the undercity. We can find these “keys” that allows for certain drops like obdisites or runes. My point is they could expand this system further, able to choose like you said favors critical stat. You pay 50 million and when ever and item drops from the chest it favors critical strike chance, damage or both randomly.

Yes, of course; it’s just banter and ideas passing.
The main thing is to get the completely uninteresting things out of the equation. We shouldn’t be dealing with that. It’s not fun and it doesn’t pass time. What it does is break up the gameplay sometimes because you gotta salvage. Which is cool, i like stopping by the village blacksmith sometimes and stuff like that, but it’s intrusive and too frequent, and it’s just unnecessary ultimately. And that has already been established and the reason why blue and yellow are removed and converted. Brown has the same problem, naturally, as time goes by. But the greater affix does help a lot. U get those only sometimes, so filling an inventory would be hours probably. Would work and should be an easy solution what you suggest.
