I’m not sure I fully understand what you said. But I’ll try to reply anyway:
Yes, I know the actual stat of any given aspect sometimes goes lower when you extract it. That’s normal, and the previews warn you about it. It didn’t happen in this case. The stat has always been shown as 2763. In the original item (pants too, I think), in the extract preview, in the extracted aspect, and the imprinted pants. I never checked item levels for this. Maybe the aspect SHOULD have been lowered, and IS getting lowered in reality, but the actual bug is that it’s SHOWN as higher than it should be?
I was using the same imprinted aspect on that item before, but a weaker version. It was shown as around 1700. I don’t recall if it was shown as lower at any point. And I never stopped to check then, if I was actually getting the number shown.
I only noticed I was getting 1865 and not 2763 now, by mere accident. I just happened to zoom by the life bar with the mouse, and I was like “1865? I don’t think I got hit at all.” So I checked a couple more times, and it always starts at 1865. I know the aspect has always been listed as 2763 in all instances, as described above, because I recall that from when I extracted it and imprinted it.
Why would I even suspect the issue is amulet related? That would only be the case, if the shown number was lower than it should be. But as I already explained twice, the REAL number is the issue here.
I might have a stashed legendary with the same aspect, though I doubt it. But I’m pretty sure I never came across another version of the aspect that had as high a stat as 2763.
And I’m not about to go through all the process of imprinting the aspect on some other gear, checking, then re-imprinting the one I’m already using on said item. Even if I have all the aspects available. It takes time to gather all the needed materials.
I cannot be 100% sure, but I’m pretty certain I noticed this issue BEFORE the 1.1 patch.
