Sorcerer is freaking trash compared to any other class in D4. It was meant to be ‘glass cannon’, but it’s ‘trash cannon’. Damage is not bad, however other classes can do much more, and survivability is meh… You can basically get oneshoted by a normal mob in T40 even with barrier on. Most of the defensives traits in paragon board are kinda useless IMO, since reduction vs burning or reduction vs vulnerable applies if they have those effects on and I’ve recently noticed that many mobs can attack you before they even approach you or even appear. Limiting our enhancment slots to 2 is ridiculous, no way to make any other build than Ice Shard or Arc Lash. Most skills are useless in the tree and fire spells are terrible. Recently I’ve noticed that my Ice Shards are not hitting some mobs (even from range) so I had to use frost nova in order to kill them by aoe. Are devs even reading these forums? Almost every post in sorcerer section is about how bad this class is and after 1 month of release there are still no changes. I hope that in next patch there will be some huge buff incoming for sorcerer, so that we also will be able to do uber lilith without exploiting or gear swapping and higher NM tiers. If not then I guess I’m done with this game, because it definitely doesn’t feel like its full-released game, but rather like an alpha version with thousands of bugs.
And you think that your topic and constructive thread will further motivate the developers to prioritize a rework of the class.
The issue has been brought up almost in excess everywhere and insted of adding to the existing threads you ask them to fire their whole team.
Im a main Sorc myself. And im not ecstatic over the situation. But can we at the very least keep it mature enough so there is even a point for them to read any of this.
Im not mad, or crying. I just think we kind of lost a piece of decent standard on human communication and addresing concerns that is worthwhile to read.
If you can’t handle T40 as sorc then you are doing something wrong either have bad items.
It’s not devs fault that your char can’t make it. I do agree that there should be more ways to play for every single class but if you really think that they should buff sorc instead buffing barb/druid then you’re lost.

I have no clue where you found information about ‘not handling T40’ as sorcerer. I just claimed that you can get oneshoted in T40 by a normal mob which is not the same. And it’s not about bad items. My 62 lvl druid with trash gear can survive more than my (almost) 87 lv sorc with most items 800+ and max-rolled stats. So, stop blaming my “bad gear” or character. It’s not fine that full-released game that costs around 100 euro is suffering from such mistakes. They had a lot of time to design classes and sorcerer looks like it was made with no love or attention. I don’t think that running nightmares and always paying attention to every ranged mob that can 1shot you is fun. Druids, barbs can facetank most of the content, while dealing way more damage than sorc. Blizzard also claimed there’s gonna be many builds available which is one huge lie. There are no variations in sorcerer builds beside two main meta builds (I’d even say one - Ice Shard). This is full-released game, not an alpha or beta version and I expect it to be like that.
I know that some people can’t handle frustration very well but please you don’t have to embarass yourself in front of diablo 4 community(save some embarassment for the real world). You don’t like something? Cool at least make a constructive opinion instead malding like a baby.

I have no clue what you are expecting from me. I am not going to redesign this class or anything like that. It’s devs’ job, not mine. I show my frustration, because I spent 100eu on full-released game which has thousands of bugs and just because I picked wrong class I’m struggling with content way more than any other classes. So basically - yes- I think I am allowed to show this frustration like many other players here. If you do not agree with it then I suggest you to try sorc if you do not have one yet and compare it to any other class. I spent hours on this char and I’m feeling forced to reroll to other class and repeat many activities if I really want to progress. I do not want to play class that has to swap gear pieces and skills in order to defeat uber lilith, while other classes can handle it much easier.
well from what i have read here both of u a jokers lol.First off yeah daminan guy surely cry alot but he surely state his point why sorc sux big and its legit i have played sorc to 100 if u want to play nm 50+ as sorc forget ice shield just go immune just dead anyway once the mobs get unfreezed unless u run away before that or have enough dmg to kill them.i have rogue/druide on 100 comparing sorc to those 2 sorc def is a joke.while my rogue can kill mobs 20 lvls over his own lvl(unoptimized gear) while lvling easiely ,while sorc. can barely handle mobs of same lvl without alot of back off freezing again blabla.not even mentioning the druid, its just a complete broken class since u make build it tanky enough to run through lvl 154 mobs like they are nothing or go full dps see numbers in billions.For sure for a 80euro game as customer i expected alot more than what they have delivered sofar,blizzard efford in making their game a good game does feel not much compare to GGG with poe every season if i have to name in number not even 5% of the efford the ggg team are putting in from the result i have seen sofar and 5% is generous lol.
That’s a real delusion. You don’t have to swap gear to kill uber lilith(and i hope you exclude barb from “… any other class”). They are doing that just to shorten time doing her not because its essential. In games like this there will always be better and worse build. Obviously you shouldn’t expect that randomised items or builds should do everything what calculated builds do.
I agree that the game is at unfinished stage and many things needs to be tweaked and redesigned since it lacks endgame and QoL features which Diablo 3 has but it’s not a reason to cry and put frustration in front of thousands of people.

well i cant comment on barb since i havent or want or can play it since i basicly just dont have enough space to store the aspects or gear i collected for just 3 chars 7 chars are just mules to hold stuff and they are full too so 3 class are basicly limit of chars i can play and its not even enough for just testing out all druid builds.for sure u dont have to swap gear but 90% of sorc uber dmg come from just 1 aspect its when u stagger her to get all the CC dmg stack up stuff like this doesnt seem to be right too when most of your dmg are garbage when mobs arent frozen/stun blabla.
