Honestly, I think Blizzard wants players to complete the campaign and then quit out of frustration.
The internet costs between expansions still have to be paid, and I’m sure the CEOs try to reduce these costs by making Diablo 4 less enjoyable after the campaign.
There will never be a good endgame in Diablo 4 because it would cost Blizzard money—money they can save if players just leave after finishing the campaign.
The real profit comes from expansions and in-game items, especially when an expansion is new.
With each expansion, you get overpowered classes and all the new features.
Once the peak sales period for an expansion is over and player activity drops—reducing revenue—management starts nerfing things again, until the next expansion arrives with new incentives to bring players back and boost profits.
It’s painful to realize how Blizzard, and many other companies without subscriptions, seem to operate…
Have you played a Season before?
There have been some really fun and enjoyable Seasons, and since season 4 the game has started to hit it’s stride. Last season was great fun and made uniques and mythics far more attainable for casual players like myself.
Can’t wait for this season if it’s similar to the Witch as it seems to be, as that was my favourite.
Honestly, i think you are playing the wrong game.
You have made numerous threads and posts about how you dislike the seasonal model, and how terrible and lacking the game is, and while there are indeed many issues with this game, it mostly just sounds like you expected this game to be something its not. You really seem to be grasping at straws with this thread.
The seasonal model of D4 is no different than any other Diablo game, aswell as the majority of the ARPG genre, for the past 25+ years. If thats not for you, thats fair, its not for everyone. Im sure there are many other games outthere that can provide what you are looking for, so why not play those, instead of sticking with a game you dont like, and wanting it to be something its not ment to be?
Im not trying to be mean or troll or push you out or anything, the choise is yours alone, i just wonder what motivates you to stick with something you actively dislike, and waste time and energy being frustrated about it, instead of doing something you do like.
