The way crossbows positioned is just looks ridicilous.
Bow limbs piercing rogue’s head model, rail is tipping above shoulders on almost half of the whole crossbow length and defying gravity, additional decorations (like this axe blade) makes me feel that if she rapidly grab this crossbow, she will cut her ear off or trapezius… 
Not speaking off how ugly it looks if you put cosmetic item on the back.

It would look much elegant if crossbow was positioned upside down on the back, like a sword, so the stock is above shoulder.
Or at least give us an option to transmog crossbow into bow.

I haven’t noticed this before, but you are right, this is not the way one would carry a crossbow.
Could be worse though. At least they managed to actually make a semi-correct bow stance- compared to that bizarre spine-twisting contortion the Demon Hunter displayed in D3.
Gotta necro this thread because it’s humiliating to use a crossbow. I even tried to make a male rogue too to see if it got better but nope, both male and female have the same problem.
I guess Blizzard needed to push the crossbow out of the way so they can sell back attachments, but if you’re gonna sabotage your game for profit, at least allow us to mog xbow to bow then!
