yes game is lacking in some areas but overall it delivered good stuff for 70 euros standard edition for people…
you can throw yourself on the ground like kid and scream and cry but you not gonna change anything…
Seasons are not even out yet and the best part is that blizzard is gonna update and change stuff all the time…

Like for example people hated d3 for the most stupid reason while i had 1000 and more hours of fun
people bash POE on reddit every new league meanwhile i personally spend again 1000 of hours playing it even tho all those games lacks something

Not played anything else since and won’t do for months. Hahahaha. Already completed campaign 3 times.
Builds are so much fun. Loot is interesting and suddenly prompts “build ideas”.
I get kids burning out maining one character and all, but you know. Try and enjoy the game not copy streamers, and then you get to enjoy the content.

Dude, kiddo, me? , I was playing diablo 1 as an adult when you probably were sucking milk out of your mum (or dad’s) breast, I played 4K hours of D3 so I believe I know what I am talking about; the game , in this state, has no longevity. D3 is 11 years old and still has a huge player base, this version if it doesnt get fixed scaling and interface-wise and given an internal community, chat, lfg etc, will eventually just appeal to short term console players (its clearly been downgraded to console standard) and will expire itself, mark my words.
And the fact you say “loot is interesting and prompts build ideas” makes me doubt you even understand how this games work, the loot scaling in d4 is atrocious, loads and loads of junk below your level and sometimes some decent item at your level that you can mod to make it work with your current setup, the problem is that whether you do a basic dungeon on the map or a dungeon with enemies 10 levels higher than you , the loot is basically the same, in D3 the specs and level of the loot were proportional to the difficulty of the content you would do so you had plenty of items of level higher than yours, locked , which you could save and use for later builds. To mention one advantage…Also this system would really incentivate you to grind hard stuff to get the best, rare drops
And yes, I am playing it and enjoying for what it is, Im at 70 in torment with whole map done but when im not with my team , i really dont feel like playing as much as I should, the qol in game is really sad, the world is depressing, cant team up , cant chat, cant exchange with others, loot scaling is pathetic and limited to your level, enemies are always trhe same, dungeons are what, 3/4 different types, just rotated? no loadouts, console like interface etc etc etc. is absolutely not enough, it requires some radical changes otherwise will be just forgotten about fast. You really need to have played D3 or at least PoE extensively to understand what I mean.
Yeah you said it yourself, completed campaign Three times in what , 8 days, how long you think its gonna keep you busy doing so? I mean, its so obvious.

I’m in the same boat as you man. The game was far from finished but they had to launch it now because otherwise, if they took the time to fix it before launch, the launch could be very near the launch of poe2 , which will take a whole market segment along with it. As it is now, we have a shallow game that gets nerfs after nerfs daily to try and stem our progress to late game, so that we can’t see the game for what it is. As wide as an ocean and as deep as a puddle. It’s all flair, just smoke and mirrors. Music is top though, i will give them that.

The game itself has potential, the open world structure on a ARPG looter is cool, but its atrociously repetitive, also graphically, and if the loot doesnt motivate you, there is not even loadouts slots, its a lonely depressing world, there is nobody to talk with or team with or discuss builds with or even PVP , what is the point on the long term? Its a shell of a game obviously reduced to that to accomodate the large console playerbase, but abandoning like that PC players its a big mistake I think, but then again, maybe now they dont want to have a game that runs 10 years but sell 1 very expensive game every 2 years. The fact is that if it doesnt change it will fade, i will have wasted 70 bucks and I will lose the franchise I grew up with. SO…pretty sad overall.

Bro there is no loot at all now .everything is nerfed to the ground have all 5 chars leveled
but after yesterday you wont see 2-3 ancestral item in any dung on WT4. nerfs to every class. i had fun on pre-purch start. but after it released it became a real disaster nerf after nerf and after nerf and nerf again and with a cherry nerf on top of it. NM dungeons are not rewarding,density of rare and mobs are low af! YY its ARPG people playing it for loot and density to annihilate tons of mobs in a blow. its not 90s wake its 2023,games should progress and step with a time not sitting in 90s.Im not young too i liked D and D2 but be realistic its PAST now 2-3 mobs on a screen is not attractive like it was.

It is when the mobs are beautifully animated and the combat is fun and engaging.
If it was the 80s the screen would be absolutely drowned in mobs mate did you never play gauntlet!?
I think the fact you already have several maxed out characters shows that you’ve actually already got your return on investment for the purchase of the game. So everything going forward from here is just gravy.

I pop on the forums in between sets, on the loo and while cooking. Made some beautiful Chicken Tinga tacos tonight. 4 scotch bonnet and 4 chipotles make a lovely base!
Don’t get the lying reference, I literally have over 7k hours on witch doctor across PS4 and pc. And then 1 to 2k for every other class minimum.
