Bought the game but it won't load - Diablo etc

I bought the new Diablo game but it won’t load for me past showing the blizzard on screen. It instantly shuts down after that. The thing is I’ve tried the Diablo 3 and it does the same. The only game that works for me on blizzard is heroes of the storm? I don’t understand what the issue is and I’ve had no reply from the ticket support. I’ve fully updated my pc from the drivers to graphics card etc, i’m actually baffled at this point as it is not my pc, and must have something to do with the blizzard app. Any advice/info is greatly appreciated.

With it happening on both Diablo IV and Diablo III, it is very likely to be caused by Chroma. If you only want it solved for Diablo IV, then this is very simply, as you can open the Diablo IV folder in your Documents folder and in here open the file “LocalPrefs.txt”. In here look for the following line:
DisableChromaEffects “0”

Change the line to this:
DisableChromaEffects “1”

Afterwards save it. If for some reason, the line is not in there, you can just add it at the end in a new line.

If you want it solved for both Diablo IV and Diablo III, then it’ll be a bit more involved.

One fix for this if you have not currently uninstalled any Razer software on your system is to directly update your Razer Synapse software from version 2 to version 3 - this should in turn update the Chroma software and fix that issue. If this doesn’t work, you may need to manually install a different version of Chroma, which can be found here: https://assets.razerzone.com/dev_portal/downloads/Razer_Chroma_SDK_Core_v1.10.6.exe Once this is installed, use the Windows program / uninstall a program list to uninstall Chroma entirely, which should clear out both the new install and the older bugged version.

Finally if none of that works, you can try and manually track down and delete the bugged files. Note this involves checking in some key OS folders, and you should be careful not to delete anything you aren’t sure about and only remove the specified files. The 3 files you’ll want to remove if present are:

C:\Windows\System32\RzChromaSDK64.dll
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\RzChromaSDK.dll
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\RzAPIChromaSDK.dll
