Bug during quest "Witch of the Wastes"

On the quest “Witch of the Wastes” I cannot progress past “Place the vial of Purified Quicksilver on the table”. The table is not interactable, and I checked a youtube video where it works as intended, but its not active for me.

Edit: relogged, and I had to kill the boss over again, but the table was active this time.

EDIT 2: confirmed riding back instead of using portal works. You drop the item when you teleport.

the same here, need to restart quest… :-/

You cant teleport back to town after you kill and pick up the vial, otherwise it drops the vial (i didnt realise the cirst time as i pressed teleported and instantly opened the character panel)

You have to run back to the tower to drop the vial off.

How do you reset the quest?

The vial is bound to that area…don’t warp to town or it resets back to the boss area. Just ride back to the tower to complete.

If u relog it will restart that part of the quest.

Did this quest twice already. Relogged, gonna try it again soon when I get motivated to

Riding back to Donan works. Put a pin on Donans location and follow the line back to him.

weird stuff you can’t teleport because the quest item will drop…you have to go back by foot. happens with another quest item too

Damit dont it 4 times now still wont work…hope i dont need it to progress…really annoying bug.

Blizzard, how is this still not patched?

FYI you don’t need to defeat the boss again. Just ride back to the quest location to pick up the item if you’ve teleported. You can then ride back to Donan.

simple … it doesn’t matter as it makes them no $.
this error has been noted since beta…
meaning? probably nothing, nothing really matters.

maybe its been deemed that you and your concerns matter less to blizzard then fixing it.
or blizzard is lazy, or they just dont care.

regardless, the WHY isnt it patched is actually a massive question in disguise

Yeah you drop the item you need to place on the table when teleporting after killing the witch. Run or ride back instead.

Hi ! Im on this quest too ! I defeat the boss, the vial is dropped but i cannot pick it up ! It says you cannot carry this item ! What to do ?
